Web DesignThese sessions promote awareness, creativity and education through IT and WWW workshops. We offer these workshops primarily to older people who are unused to this area of technology and may be fearful of using computers and have now yet realised the opportunities that the Internet provides for shopping, communication, research etc.

Offering older people ICT allows the opportunities for shopping, intellectual pursuits etc, all which assist in breaking down barriers of isolation and marginalisation. All workshops are provided by professional trainers, and all necessary equipment is provided. Full monitoring and evaluation processes will be integrated into the programmes.
Our training enables older people to meet others, learn new skills and provide access to a vastly changing environment.
Office Skills: To type letters, store information, make presentations, send e-mails, plan budgets with excel,draw pictures, etc.
Search the Internet: Look for information and research, shopping and ordering online, chat with friends, get recipes, learn and explore safe e-commerce.
Web design Courses : Participants on our course in Web Design will learn the basic skills of a web designer. The course is divided into two sections.
In Section one, you will learn all about Hyper Text Mark-up Language – HTML. Topics range from using the internet and e-mail, creating web pages, forms and feedback, tables, creating images, frames, multimedia and more besides.
Section two brings you up to date with the latest web technology and the use of cascading style sheets. Amongst the comprehensive range of topics covered you’ll find out about: using HTML editors, preparing, publishing and promoting your website, web development software, successful search engine optimisation, as well as web accessibility and usability issues. And at the very end of the course, you’ll publish your very own professional standard website!
